Let’s Play a Game!
In the classroom, We had introduced the children to “Tic-Tac-Toe” with some center games. It is a little difficult at first but it’s a great game to help young children learn about “strategy”, “choices”, “horizontal”, “vertical” , “diagonal”, etc. Since our letter this week is “X”, it seemed this would be a great time to reintroduce this game. Luckily, this game can be played on a simple piece of paper; with objects around the house; or since we are talking about Earth Day this week, even nature objects would be great! Below are a few ideas I found that I thought might spark some creativity.
