Math - Positional Words
This week in math, you will find an action packed variety! If we were in the classroom, we would practice positional words with hands on activities and body movements. I will provide you with some ways and ideas to do the same thing at home. You will find 2 videos here today. One is a song by Jack Hartman called “All Around the Farm”. The second one is a way to make an obstacle course in order to practice postional words. This video shows an inside obstacle course but if the weather is nice, I encourage you to make an outside course as well. The objective is to practice the words and use the vocabulary. Here are a few words the children will learn: inside, outside, front, back, up, down, above, below, left right, beside, next to, etc. You get the picture! Have fun!
