Rhyming Words

Rhyming words sound the same at the end like “at”, “bat”, “cat”, etc.  Listen to and repeat the rhyming words in the video.  Then use the sheet attached in the email to practice matching rhyming words.  I would suggest that your child cut on the lines, mix up the pictures, and play a matching game.  When they are done, put the pictures in an envelope or ziploc bag and save them to play again later.  If you don’t have the ability to print the sheet, look at the sheet and try to recreate some pictures with simple drawings.  Rhyming words are difficult but fun.  Enjoy!
