Snow Day Activities (1/16/24)

 RELIGION: THE STORY OF CREATION

Last week we started learning the Story of Creation.  So far we have covered Day 1 - God created light and Day 2 - God created the sky.  This week we had plans to learn about Day 3 -  God created the sea, the land, and every plant and tree.  We have workbook pages that we can complete when we return to school.  In the meantime, the children can practice our creation motion song.

LANGUAGE ARTS: ALPHABET LETTERS AND BEGINNING SOUNDS

So far we have focused on letters Aa-Kk.  This week is letter Ll.

MATH: NUMERALS AND SETS 1-10

Find numerals around your house, in books, on objects, etc and name them.

Practice counting objects and match to numerals.

Use playdough to make numerals 1-10.  Roll playdough into small balls, snakes, or use small cookie cutter to make sets to match to numerals.
